Eberhard’s Dairy Products returned from the 2011 QCS conference in St. Louis, Missouri with numerous awards. With a focus on “People, Purpose, and Passion”, the 2011 QCS conference provided a mixture of education, motivation and recognition for its member and supplier community.
Conference attendees included members and suppliers of QCS Purchasing partners Quality Chekd Dairies, SECO, and Allied Purchasing.
Eberhard’s Dairy was awarded the Sweepstakes Award for Fluid Milk which they have received the last two out of three years. Also awarded, for the 2nd year in a row, was the Production Merit of Excellence Awards. This award recognized Production Excellence of Eberhard’s Cultured products and Ice Cream products.
In addition, Eberhard’s also received a Merit Award for Plant Assessment for the 4th year in a row. Mark Eberhard, General Manager and co-owner of Eberhard’s Dairy shares “We are especially proud of this award because it recognizes the cleanliness of our plant. We work hard at providing quality items and this award speaks to the efforts of everyone at Eberhard’s to uphold these standards, so we can continue providing award winning products to Central Oregon. Quality Chekd’s standards are set by its membership through the Quality and Food Safety
Committee. These standards have always exceeded those of any government—and are
continually on the rise.
