Early bird registration is now available for the 3rd Annual Bend WebCAM Conference geared toward “web geeks and creative and marketing freaks.” It is scheduled for September 29-30, at the Tower Theatre and Oxford Hotel in Bend.

“Bend WebCAM is a hybrid conference that offers something for everyone involved in the technical or creative aspects of marketing,” said Cam Davis, owner of Wordplay and a co-chair of the conference hosted by the Advertising Federation of Central Oregon and Pixelsilk.

“The conference is an amazing opportunity for anyone wishing to blend technology and creativity into a successful 21st century business plan,” he explained. “It offers three tracks: the Left Brain Track, which dives deep into the technical side of marketing, including SEO, social media and mobile marketing; the Right Brain Track, which focuses on the creative, emotional and imaginative methods of communicating; and the Hybrid Track that successfully merges the two.”

This year’s conference is organized a bit differently than in the past. Thursday will feature five in-depth workshops with industry experts in local search marketing, SEO, creative branding, and social media. Participants can attend workshops individually for $129 each or buy an all-workshop pass for $249.

Friday will feature a full roster of keynotes and workshops offered by industry notables, such as Rand Fishkin, CEO of SEOmoz.org, Tim Ash, CEO of SiteTuners.com; and Andy Smith, author of The Dragonfly Effect. Friday only passes are $249, or participants can get a discounted full-conference pass for $479. Thursday and two-day passes also include admission to the Brew Ha-Ha social on Thursday evening.

“Bend WebCAM is growing in stature each year,” said Lynnette Braillard, marketing director for Visit Bend and co-chair of the event. “We are gaining the reputation as a must-do conference because of the level of expertise we offer in state-of-the-art and cutting edge discussions, but also because of Bend as the destination.”

“Attendees get some great professional development and creative stimulation over the two-day conference, and then they get to enjoy Bend over the weekend,” Braillard said.

The 2011 Bend WebCAM is made possible by sponsors like Pixelsilk, Decipher Inc. G5,  Audette Media, SEMpdx, Raven Tools, Buzztag, Connexion Printing Consultants, Dana Signs, Zolo Media, Cascade Business News, Combined Communications, The Source Weekly and The Bulletin.
