Bend Endurance Academy Announces 2018 Fall Lecture Series

Bend Endurance Academy announces the creation of the Bend Endurance Academy Fall Lecture Series. This series will provide the community the opportunity to learn about specific topics regarding athletic performance, injury prevention, and healthy outdoor physical activity. Experts in the field of Sports Medicine and Performance from the Bend community will provide athletes of all sports and abilities information that can be implemented to improve their health, increase their performance, and prevent injury.

The Bend Endurance Academy Fall Lecture Series is FREE and open to all members of the Central Oregon community. The lecture series will be hosted at the Bend Endurance Academy main office located at 442 NE 3rd Street in Bend. Dates and times for the three lectures are listed below.

“Nutrition Periodization for Endurance Athletes”

October 17, 7:30-8:30pm

“Strength Training for Endurance Athletes; performance development and injury prevention”
Dave Cieslowski DPT, CSCS
November 14, 7:30-8:30pm

“The Athlete Triad; the risk for both female and male athletes”
Devon Hutton MD, CAQSM
December 19, 7:30-8:30pm
