Due to the outstanding response to his April event in Bend, Dave Ramsey is coming to Bend for a second 2011 presentation of his EntreLeadership Training Program, via live simulcast on Friday September 30 presented by the Central Oregon Christian Business Association.
EntreLeadership is Dave Ramsey’s renowned leadership program, teaching individuals, teams and businesses how to thrive in tough times. The day-long training workshop will be held on Friday, September 30 at the Bend Church of the Nazarene, located at 1270 NE 27 Street. Doors open at 8:00 am for coffee and networking. The event begins at 8:45 and runs through 4:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break. Registrations are on sale for $39.00 on line at www.cocba.com and at various locations in Bend, Madras, Prineville and Redmond. Early bird and group discounts are available for locally purchased tickets.
Registration includes morning coffee and networking sponsored by Backporch Coffee Roasters and a sandwich lunch provided by Schlotzsky’s Deli.
The seminar, a video simulcast live from Dallas, targets individuals who want to develop leadership abilities, a business or organization leader who wants to develop a team, an entrepreneur who wants to build a business on solid, proven principles, plus non-profit boards and faith-based leadership groups. This workshop is for someone who wants the drive and motivation of an entrepreneur and the strength and vision of a leader.
Dave has grown his company to a winning national brand with more than 300 team members who have impacted millions of lives. EntreLeadership is how he did it, mistakes and all. This is 20 years of real world experience with all the sweat, tears and prayers. This is how his company has won “Best Place to Work in Nashville” five years in a row. It’s proven. It’s practical. And it’s how you can do it too.
Dave Ramsey started with virtually nothing but had a net worth of a little over one million dollars by the time he was 26. Shortly thereafter he lost it all due to out of control spending and too much debt. “After losing everything, I went on a quest to find out how money really works, how I could get control of it and how I could have confidence in handling it,” Ramsey says. I came to realize that my money problems, worries and shortages largely began and ended with the person in my mirror. I also realized that if I could learn to manage the character I shaved with every morning, I could win with money.”
Ramsey formed the Lampo Group in 1992 to counsel hurting from the results of financial stress. He is the author of multiple books about what he has learned along the journey, including Financial Peace and Total Money Makeover. Dave hosts a radio program that reaches more than four million listeners daily, is frequently featured on cable and network television and syndicates a national newspaper column.
