Event Attendees Have Opportunity to Win Season Finale Tickets to ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”
BEND, Ore. (September 21, 2011) Central Oregon Sparrow Clubs and KOHD 9 are pleased to announce that tickets are officially on sale for the first annual “Swinging with the Stars” event, scheduled for October 29, 2011, at Bend Senior High School.
Tickets may be purchased by visiting www.SwingingwiththeStars.org, and clicking on the “Tickets” link at the top of the page. Alternately, people may purchase tickets in person at the Sparrow Clubs office located at 906 NE Greenwood, Suite 2 in Bend.
Prices start at $20 per person and range up to $80 for a VIP ticket that includes priority seating and admission to the official cast after-party. All price points allow for specific seat selection, and early purchase is recommended to secure the best seats.
“Swinging with the Stars” is modeled after the wildly popular “Dancing with the Stars” program. Featuring 9 local celebrities, paired with professional dancers, each couple will dance and compete to take home one of several awards. The event will also showcase local dance and music talent, including live performances from Dance Central, Gotta Dance, MOsely WOtta and more.
Attendees will have the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to the finale performance of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, along with other incredible prizes.
All money raised will be used locally to help Sparrow Clubs continue serving children in medical need, and empowering youth to make a difference in our communities. Sparrow Clubs is proof that you’re never too young to make a difference. As the nation’s only youth-based charity of its kind, Sparrow Clubs not only provides financial and emotional support for critically ill children and their families, but also empowers young people to help a child through charitable service experiences.
