Hats Off to The Past, Present and Future…
The Bend Senior Center will celebrate their 10th Anniversary with a weeklong celebration November 2-6 at the Bend Senior Center 1600 SE Reed Market Road. The week will be filled with activities for all ages. Wear a hat and get into all drop in fitness classes for free, November 2-November 5. Prizes will be awarded daily for the silliest and most stylish hats.
Activities:
Monday, October 31 – Friday, November 4, 1-4pm- Billiards Tournament. Call to register.
Wednesday, November 2- Noon-1pm-“It takes a Village to Raise a Center”- 10 years in a pictorial review. Complimentary dessert and coffee. Free admission.
Thursday, November 3-1:30-3pm- Honor Our Veterans- A special tribute to our veterans. Enjoy listening and dancing to the music of the Memr’y Makers. Take part in an old fashioned Ice Cream Social. Free admission.
Friday, November 4- 6-8pm- “Enjoy the Music; Past, Present and Future”. Dance to DJ music, enjoy light appetizers and a decadent chocolate fountain. Free admission.
Saturday, November 5- 10am-Noon- “Intergenerational Fun Walk and Hat Parade.” The walk will be followed by a continental breakfast. Bring your grandkids or children to the festivities. Wear a silly hat and come take a walk at the Senior Center. Free admission.
Sunday, November 5- 2-4pm – Enjoy the music of The Notables Swing Band. Light refreshments served. $5 admission per person.
