4th of July Free Day at the Deschutes Historical Museum

The Deschutes Historical Museum celebrates its anniversary on the 4th of July with free admission and free ice cream cups while they last. The Deschutes Historical Museum will be open from 10am-4pm.

This year, visitors can see the museum’s latest exhibit, Cruisin 97 and Central Oregon and the Great War. On display are artifacts from Bend’s Water Pageant celebration, which took place on 4th of July weekend from the 1930s through the 1960s.

The Deschutes Historical Museum opened July 4, 1980. The Museum free day is an opportunity to thank the community for its support with free admission and free ice cream treats.
