As part of its quest for qualified, passionate new board representatives, current members of the Heart of Oregon Corps Board invite the community to join them at Deschutes Brewery & Public House (1044 NW Bond Street in downtown Bend) on Tuesday, July 23, 5-7:30pm, for an informal gathering. Come learn about our work to support Central Oregon youth and raise a glass. This event is during July Community Pints, when $1 from every pint sold at Deschutes Brewery will benefit Heart of Oregon.
Founded in 2000, Heart of Oregon Corps now operates six programs throughout Central Oregon that provide job skills training and educational opportunities to more than 300 youth every year. Board members serve a vital role in helping the organization continue its mission “to inspire and empower positive change in the lives of young people through jobs, education and stewardship.”
