Steele Associates recently completed the new Clatskanie PUD campus. The campus includes a two-story, 18,000 square foot administration building, a 19,900 square foot warehouse building, a 5,700 square foot maintenance shop and related equipment storage areas on the 5.5 acre site.
The buildings incorporate sustainable design strategies to ensure energy efficiency, reduce water and waste consumption and emphasize the need to raise the standard of conventional building design and construction.
“Everyone we worked with at Clatskanie PUD was great, and we really enjoyed the collaborative process working with them. We worked hard to design the facility to be reflective of the region’s timber heritage, and based on the comments from the large crowd at the ribbon cutting it appears as though we succeeded.” Scott Steele, president of Steele Associates.
