One of the optional services provided by Crestcom to its clients is help with hiring. According to Cale Pearson, Elite Management Training LLC-Crestcom, the service typically looks like this:

The client provides us with the job description for the open position. We post ads on Indeed and Craigslist. We vet out the applicants and set up initial interviews. The interview questions (provided to the client to review/amend) are all the same for every applicant. After the interview, we email our client a recommendation on the applicant(s) and explanation for the recommendation. From there, the client decides which candidates they’d like to meet with. We help schedule the second interviews.

We know the hiring process can add a lot to an already full plate. We also know the process needs to move quickly to make the best hires, but not with the goal of just filling an empty chair. We respond to every applicant as soon as possible (within the hour they apply and no longer than 24 hours) either to schedule an interview (within three days) or politely turn them down. To hire the best applicant, we prepare to move fast. We try to schedule the second interview as close to the first as possible. We don’t want to give them too much time to interview elsewhere!

Recently, we hired an applicant within 24 hours of receiving their resume. We had received many resumes for the position, but none fit our client’s needs. Then we received what looked like the perfect resume. The applicant revealed in their cover letter they recently relocated to the area and just started their job search. Based on the impressive resume, we knew they wouldn’t need to look long to find a job. We called the applicant within five minutes of receiving the resume to learn more about them. The applicant came in that same day for a first interview. While in the first interview, we scheduled the second interview with our client for the following day. During the second interview, the client also felt the applicant was a good fit and made an offer on the spot and the applicant accepted. Our client spent 30 minutes of their time to make a great hire. This employee has already proven themselves to be a superstar!

We can also help implement effective on-boarding processes for new hires. Studies have shown retention increases when new-hires have good on-boarding experiences.

Crestcom also offers leadership skills workshops. Please let us know if you have any questions or would like our help with your hiring needs!
