xA portion of proceeds will benefit Boys & Girls Club of Central Oregon. A true high desert epic experience sums up the third annual X-Man Adventure Weekend taking place at the Bearly There Ranch in Redmond. The weekend includes free camping, BBQ, music, and endless outdoor athletic adventure.

Hundreds of adventure seekers will participate in one or more of the races over the weekend. You can find video of last year’s event on YouTube. Check out our Facebook page for registration information, X-Man-Adventure.

Novice to super stud, the festivities will kick off Saturday with the Triumph Fitness Boot Camp Challenge; fun, farm-style challenges mixed with multiple gym activities. There will be a special Beat the Bear challenge between the farm boys and gym rats to see who wins the cold hard cash. Will it be you?

The Sagebrush Skedaddle on Sunday (suggested for ages 15+) is a 5-6 mile adrenaline-boosting scramble meets cross-country adventure foot race on high desert terrain with several unexpected obstacles – mud pits, canal crossings, tunnel crawls, climbing, jumping, pushing, dragging, and of course, a mountain view run.

The Race for the Bounty kids’ race will follow the Sagebrush Skedaddle on Sunday. Kids beware! Pirates will be ready to steal your loot during this muddy obstacle course to the pirate ship, where Captain Jack Sparrow will have a surprise for you.
