The Bend City Council will hold a public hearing on August 5, 2020, during the regular meeting of the Bend City Council at 7:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 concerns, and to support Governor Brown’s order for social distancing, the meeting will be convened on-line. The public is encouraged to watch on-line at: https://www.bendoregon.gov/councilagenda.
Public comments may be submitted in writing in advance by sending to: rchristie@bendoregon.gov by 5 p.m. August 5, 2020, for consideration by the City Council at the public hearing. In addition, public comments may also be provided via telephone during the public hearing. A toll-free number will be posted on the meeting agenda which can be accessed on-line at: https://www.bendoregon.gov/councilagenda. Please be advised that times in the agenda are estimates only; meetings can run longer or be delayed for multiple reasons.
At the hearing, the Council will take public testimony on the desirability of establishing a procedure for the sale of the individual parcel of a class of City-owned real property, or any interest in the property, under a single program established within the City for the sale of that class of property.
The class consists of the following property:
Parcel 3 of Partition Plat PP 2007-78
The intended use of the property is light industrial and employment uses allowed in the Juniper Ridge Employment Sub-District.
The City Council will determine after the hearing whether to adopt a procedure and establish a program by which the property will be sold.
