Security Pros Inc., located in Bend’s Old Mill District, announces the addition of Tim Steiner as operations manager.
Steiner comes to the organization with a solid, 30-year background of law enforcement and security experience. He retired from the Oregon State Police as a lieutenant, experienced in criminal and traffic enforcement, having also served in specialized roles in dignitary protection, tribal gaming and as head of the Oregon State Lottery Security Division.
A proven leader, team builder and first responder he is trained and experienced in all aspects of security, emergency response, public safety, physical security and regulatory compliance.
Steiner is a graduate of Northwestern University – School of Police Staff and Command in Evansville, Indiana and Linn Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon. His certifications through the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training include but are not limited to advanced police, management and instructor. He’s taught gaming enforcement at the State Police Recruit Schools and has spoken before legislative committees in Oregon and New Mexico on the subject lottery security. He is a member of ASIS International which advances security worldwide.
