Watch the video at youtube.com to learn more about Oregon Adaptive Sports’ (OAS) Spread the Stoke Grant program. Application and more information is available on the OAS website.
OAS is stoked to support athletes and their families in enjoying the benefits of outdoor recreation through the Spread the Stoke Grant program. Grants are awarded for individuals with a cognitive, physical or behavioral disability to put towards their outdoor recreation needs.
There are two tiers of grants that will be awarded in two seasonal cycles. The fall cycle opens today, October 1. The first tier is for any sports related equipment that is under $500. This is a rolling, first-come-first-serve application that will be open until all the allocated funding is awarded. The second tier is a single grant of $2,500 for any sports-related equipment or experience. Applications for this tier are due November 1 and will be reviewed by a committee to pick a single awardee.
We want to ensure that everyone has equal access to this funding opportunity and remove barriers in place. Please contact info@oregonadaptivesports.org or call 541-306-4774 x2, for alternative submissions, assistance or questions.
