Pinnacle Architecture, Inc. has been awarded best new construction, best remodel and best overall grand prize at the First Annual 2012 High Desert Design Council Design Awards.
The competition was centered around the idea that great design should be celebrated in Central Oregon. Awards were given for best landscape design, craftsmanship, interior design, best use of technology, best recycle/repurpose, remodel, new construction and an overall grand prize.
A showcase was held in Bend at the Franklin Crossing building to allow nominees, members and patrons to view the selected projects.
The High Desert Design Council was established in 2008 by the local interior design community to bring people together from interiors, landscape, architecture, building and product industries for professional development, continuing education and networking aimed at elevating sustainable design and creating better lives for ourselves and our neighbors.
The Design Awards were made possible by a large number of sponsors and services from local businesses including Custom Tint, Premier Home Systems, Classic Window Coverings, Modern Fab, DE Rink, Art on the Go, Kate Miller Design, Tumalo Feed Company, Eagle Crest Resort, Jackalope Grill, Niblick and Greens, Anthony’s Restaurant, Crux, The Oregon Store, The Old Mill District, Franklin Crossing and special thanks to art consultant Billye Turner.
