A Virtual Event That Will Celebrate All Things 90s While Supporting Local Children & Teens

On Saturday, May 8, community members, business leaders and parents will come together virtually at the first ever House Party, presented by Qorvo. The event will raise much needed funds to support Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend’s youth development programs this coming summer. The signature event will be live streamed at bgcbend.org/house-party.

Guests should break out their hypercolor t-shirts and find those old crimping irons! House Party promises to be a fun-filled evening of live auction items, food, drinks and a celebration of all things 90s! Guests will travel back in in time through the Club’s website to celebrate and support the amazing youth that count on Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend each day. And even though we can’t meet in person, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bend will provide everything you need to party virtually together! Event highlights include:

  • One-of-a-kind online auction items
  • Slammin’ raffle prizes from Hydro Flask
  • Gift bags full of fly, 90s-themed items
  • A throwback photo contest, because no one was on social media back then
  • Trivia contests with rad prizes
  • And much more!

“The last year has been challenging for everyone, particularly local kids” said Mark Takehara, interim executive director. “House Party is way for us to remember what it’s like to be in community with each other. It will give guests a way to party together safely, to reconnect, and to collectively support our youth. This event can show them their futures are bright and this community cares about them.”

The event is presented by Qorvo, and sponsored by Hayden Homes, Pridestaff, Humm Kombucha, Volvo Cars Bend, BendTel, PayneWest Insurance, Bank of the West and St. Charles Health System.

To get on the guest list community members can pre-register at bgcbend.org/house-party, or follow Boys & Gils Clubs of Bend on social media @bgcbend for more information.
