The Bend Fire Historical Society is presenting a Golf Scramble Tournament June 28 at Broken Top Club to buy back our original c. 1919 American-LaFrance Fire Engine. This is Engine 1 – Bend’s very first fire engine. She currently lives in Poulsbo, Washington and the Poulsbo Fire Department will send her home for only $13,000.

The Society is just over half way to its fundraising goal. They are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which means your golf day is tax deductible.

Prizes include a par 3 closest to the pin cash hole, vintage trophies, one of a kind custom artwork and other great items.

Golf begins with a shotgun start at 1:30pm at Broken Top. Limited to the first 100 golfers to respond. $115 per person. www.bendfirehistory.org.
