In anticipation of the upcoming land use submittals to the city of Prineville, St. Charles Health System and Ochoco Lumber Company invite the public to a land use project open house to see details of the new Prineville health care campus and the Ochoco Mill site.
The open house includes:
• Artist renderings of the health care facility
• The master plan for the site
• Information on transportation and utility improvements in the area
• And much more
The land use open house will be from 5-6:30pm at the Prineville City Hall, 387 NE Third St.
St. Charles Health System signed an agreement with Ochoco Lumber Company in May for the purchase of the 20-acre site where the new health care campus will be constructed. As part of the agreement, St. Charles is responsible for some off-site infrastructure, as well as the costs associated with rezoning the property and developing a master plan.
The health care campus will feature a primary care and specialty care physician clinic, Emergency Department, imaging and laboratory services, two surgical suites, 12 inpatient beds, a retail pharmacy and more.
Construction of the $30 million project will likely begin in the first quarter of 2014 and will take about eighteen months to complete.
