Beulah’s Place is a nonprofit charity dedicated to helping homeless teens, and they’re headquarteredright here in Redmond. Today, they announced an online and on-site upcycling collection program that gives supporters an easy way to turn their outdated cell phones, laptops, and other electronic devices into funding for their organization.
Show your support by collecting devices from friends and businesses, and by spreading the upcycle word. Then go to www.causesinternational.com/charity/beulahs-place to learn about the simple donation process.
This is an eco-friendly way of making a contribution, because for every item you upcycle, Beulah’s Place will receive a donation from Causes International, a company dedicated to environmental stewardship by providing customized, no cost, turnkey solutions for transforming e-waste into reconditioned equipment or safely recycled parts.
This upcycle process is safe, and HIPAA compliant, with a guarantee of complete high-security data destruction and a promise to keep toxic e-waste out of landfills.
Donors can also bring all of their retired mobile devices, working or not, to the Beulah’s Place RUMMAGE SALE on October 18 and October 19 to create funding for homeless teens and teens at risk. Upcycle collection receptacles will be available at the event. There’s no limit to the number of mobile devices that can be donated, and best of all, it’s completely free.
Beulah’s Place will even arrange for free local pickup if you call them before October 16.
The event is being held at the Highland Baptist Church on October 18 and 19. 3100 SW Highland Avenue in Redmond.
The mission of Beulah’s Place is to lead homeless teens away from sexual exploitation by criminals and predators. In a non-judgmental environment, they provide victims and at-risk kids help, healing and, most of all, hope.
