Treat yourself to a Museum visit during this long President’s Day weekend! There’s so much to spark wonder.

Discover the “Latest” Fashions

Can you imagine putting on up to six layers of clothing each day? In 1904, that’s exactly what you did. With the help of your local dressmaker, you would look comfortable, fashionable and functional.

Learn more about the era’s fashions from the characters at the 1904 Miller Ranch this Saturday, February 19 from 11am-1pm. It’s a step back in time!

Imagine a Different World

If you could create your own world, what would it look like?

For generations, people have journeyed to the High Desert and Western United States with their own visions of an idyllic society. The Museum’s original exhibit Imagine a World explores the history, ideas and art of intentional communities — from the glass domes of Arizona’s Biosphere 2 to Rajneeshpuram in Central Oregon.

Expose Yourself to The Wild

Put your feet up in a daily talk and learn something fascinating about the High Desert landscape and the creatures that call it home.

Kick off your visit with High Desert Natural History at 11am. Follow it up with the Carnivore Talk at 12pm. Then spend the rest of the afternoon hearing from naturalists about the unique otters, ungulates and birds of prey with which we share this region.

Did we mention all daily programs are FREE with Museum admission?
