Kôr Community Land Trust to Hold Fundraiser to Build its Next Village

0

Kôr Community Land Trust knows it takes a village to build a village, and the nonprofit affordable housing developer needs your help. Kôr is holding a fundraiser to build its third community on April 28, 2022 from 6-8pm at Tetherow. The public and press are invited to attend the event, which will feature hors d’oeuvres and an open bar, during which time Alicia Viani’s duo will perform. Following, guests will have an opportunity to donate to the mission-based nonprofit through a silent art auction, live auction and a paddle raise.

All funds raised will support Kôr’s third community on Poplar Street in SW Bend. The community is designed to serve seven low-income households in single-family, family-sized homes that will be built to goal net-zero standards. The units will be permanently affordable through the Community Land Trust model, serving the community’s affordable housing needs for generations.

Kôr’s fundraiser is supported by its title sponsors, Brooks Resources and Western Title. Other sponsors include Ambrose Law Group, JP Morgan Chase, Umpqua Bank, Central Oregon Association of REALTORS, City of Bend, Eclipse Engineering, Francis Hansen & Martin LLP, Duke Warner Realty, Housing Works, The Shelter Studio and S & F Land Services.
