At the City Club of Central Oregon’s September forum, Millennials: They’re Shaping Our Future, What Shaped Them? we will look at what major life events shaped Millennials, the decisions they make, and get to know the generation stepping into major leadership roles in the next few years (if they haven’t already).
“From the workforce to elected leaders, we are seeing the emergence of millennial leadership. City Club is excited to have the Bend YP group join us to lead this discussion,“ said Kim Gammond, executive director at the City Club of Central Oregon.
Hear from a panel of millennials in Central Oregon on the milestones that shaped their worldviews, the challenges they face that aren’t always obvious, and how to support them both personally and professionally. If we want to continue to build a successful, thriving community, we need to work with and encourage the generation making major decisions. This will be an interactive panel with time for table talk and questions.
“The Bend Young Professionals are excited to participate in this great conversation and share their experiences. Through open dialogue, we can all learn more about different points of view and perspectives,” said Jenn Greco, Bend Chamber Leadership Development Programs coordinator.
Brought to you by the City Club of Central Oregon and the Bend Young Professionals, a program of the Bend Chamber with sponsorship from the Central Oregon Community College and OSU-Cascades.
