BendJS (JavaScript) was started as a web development meetup group in 2017. Since its founding the group has grown to a community of almost 300 developers and tech professionals. Members of the community crowdsource solutions, share job opportunities and support each other in tackling everyday issues like – what is the best app or platform to use to solve a specific problem? Kyle McLeod has been leading the community since 2018 and will share more about the group’s evolution and announce plans for the recently launched Bend Startup Central, a community for early stage tech companies to share ideas and receive feedback from peers.
