VegNet Bend is a day-long celebration to promote compassionate living with plant-based foods and other animal-free products on Saturday, May 31. Bend VegFest will feature nationally recognized speakers, informative exhibitors, a film screening and delicious samples of vegan food from veg-friendly restaurants and food companies.
Bend VegFest will be held at the beautiful Cascade Culinary Institute, on the Central Oregon Community College campus, from 9am-5:30pm followed by a film screening. As more and more people are choosing plant-based foods, the demand for this option is increasing on a scale not seen before.
Many restaurants and food companies are listening and fulfilling this need. VegNet Bend seeks to showcase these companies to the Central Oregon Community and beyond. Bend VegFest is in response to this growing public interest in plant-based foods.
