Company Pitch: Tune

For Kyle Henry, the impact of eating disorders hits close to home. Both of the women in his family are affected by them. Tune’s mission was born from Co-founders Kyle Henry and Richard Sallari’s shared frustration at the lack of patient-centered care strategies offered in the US healthcare system. The founders brings together a unique collaboration of leadership skills in artificial intelligence, scientific research and nutrition to tackle the complex problem of food logging and its potential to impact mind-body health.

Five million Americans will develop an eating disorder this year, yet dietitians and medical professionals face challenges in asking eating disorder patients to food log due to the triggering effects. Tune’s vision is to become the leading clinical grade food logger with AI-assisted support. With a 5 second video, Tune’s AI-assisted mobile technology allows individuals to log calories and macro nutrients with 78% accuracy without the patient seeing any numbers. All food data is sent to healthcare professionals via a private dashboard.
