In response to increasing popularity of its spirits Bendistillery has hired six additional employees at their distillery in Bend. All six positions have been added in production and bottling including staff for a newly created night shift.
“The opening of new markets, four new states this year already, has had a quicker than expected impact on our growth,” said Alan Dietrich, CEO of Bendistillery. “We typically have seen it take many months or even years to build sales in a new market. Now we are seeing a real demand for craft spirits nearly everywhere.”
Dietrich said that although Bendistillery has previously utilized temporary staffing to handle spikes in production he expects this new round of hires to be full time, permanent members of the Bendistillery team, which now numbers 32 employees. “Not only have we added a PM shift but we have promoted several staff to newly created leadership roles that have opened up entry level opportunities.”
