Welcome to June! The days are still lengthening, the activities are ramping up, and there is much going on at The Environmental Center. We’re excited to announce that site host applications are open for the Green Building Tour, which is also getting a refresh this year. Plus, a reminder of our free Home Energy Assessment program community info session this Wednesday, a call out for photographer volunteers, and an update on our Facility’s conference room name.

The Green Building Tour Returns Saturday, September 28!
For the 22nd year of the Green Building Tour we are excited to try a slightly different structure. The Environmental Center will host participants for a full day of theme-based activities on Saturday, September 28. The morning’s Summit will include featured speakers, community workshops, and educational booths. The afternoon’s Tour will showcase themes demonstrated in the field with community sites that highlight local energy-saving solutions.
