The Matching Grant specifies that, between now and September 1, 2014, every dollar that Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon receives in donations will be matched one to one by the grant, up to $25,000.
According to Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Oregon’s Board Chair Jim Schell “The impact of this grant, when included with the matching funds that will follow, is huge for us. It will allow the September 1, 2014 transition from one Central Oregon Club to two Clubs to take place on schedule and as planned. The timing could not have been better.”
The new Boys & Girls Club business model will feature two separate “local” clubs; the Boys & Girls Club of Bend, consisting of the Downtown Bend and East Bend Clubs, and the Boys & Girls Club of Redmond, consisting of the Redmond and Terrebonne Clubs.
