Bend Fire & Rescue invites the community to its annual open house on Saturday, September 28 from 10am to 1pm at the North Fire Station, 63377 NE Jamison St. in Bend.
This free, family-friendly event is an opportunity to meet firefighters, emergency responders and community partners as well as take a tour of the fire station. There will be an opportunity to climb into a fire truck and free ice cream will be available at the event!
This will also be an opportunity for community members to learn valuable safety tips from Bend Fire & Rescue staff. There will be a safe cooking demonstration, a smoke alarm demonstration and an opportunity to learn about wildfire and home safety.
