Due to Thanksgiving, this month’s PubTalk falls one week earlier than normal. Mark your calendars and join us next week as we wrap up 2021 with the last official EDCO event of the year.

This month’s lineup brings together a bit of everything including a new startup founded by a serial entrepreneur, a company changing the way employers hire and a keynote by a native Oregonian who’s helped make Central Oregon the outdoor industry hub it is today.

And now onto the lineup…

Keynote:

Making Central Oregon an Outdoor Industry Hub
Gary Bracelin | Founder | Bend Outdoor Worx
Among numerous other things, Bracelin is a founding board member of the Oregon Outdoor Alliance (OOA). In 2014, he founded Bend Outdoor Worx (BOW), the first independent outdoor accelerator in the U.S., to help mentor and grow early and growth stage outdoor companies. BOW was born from Bracelin’s knowledge and inspiration to help Bend become a hub of the outdoor industry and capitalize on its unique abundance of outdoor recreational activities. He saw a need to support local companies trying to make a mark in this industry and help support this growing economic sector in Central Oregon. Applications for BOW’s next cohort are open now through December 15.
