The Bend Chamber is seeking applicants for three open Board of Directors (BOD) positions. The full BOD consists of 14 Directors who each serve a three-year term.
The BOD is the representative governing body for the Bend Chamber and is responsible for setting the long-term direction of the organization and establishing official Chamber positions on legislation, policy and initiatives.
It is the Chamber’s goal to create a welcoming board culture that meets diversity and inclusion goals in regard to representation.
Criteria for BOD consideration:
- Your business/organization must be a current Chamber member in good standing.
- You must have time to devote to Board responsibilities, including nine monthly meetings lasting approximately two hours, attending some Chamber events, serving on committees, and representing the Chamber in meetings with elected officials, business and community leaders, and organizations.
- You must be at an executive level within your business/organization or a business owner.
