The Bend Kids Dog Show is a fun, new event hosted by kids, for kids on Saturday, July 18. The goal is to encourage kids to have fun with their dogs this summer while also raising funds for the Humane Society of Central Oregon.
The event will be at the Humane Society of Central Oregon (61170 SE 27th Street in Bend) and begins at 10am.
It’s a way for kids to take pride in their dogs and to showcase their family pet either by walking their dog on a leash or performing a fun trick together. The idea is that “every dog is a winner” and that both kids and dogs benefit from play and interaction.
Local celebrities will be judges and will let every kid know they are all winners. Thanks to local sponsors, East Bend Animal Hospital, Bend Pet Express and Muddy Paws, every kid/dog team will receive a goody bag and prizes will also be awarded.
