Effective October 16, 2017, the long-standing firm of Campbell & Tehan in Sisters has merged its practice into the firm of Capstone CPAs, LLC with locations in Sisters, Bend and Redmond. This merger will grow the only three city CPA firm in the Central Oregon region. “We believe you have to live in the community to service the community and the goal was to have three city focuses to serve Central Oregon,” said Lance Brant, Managing Member of Capstone CPAs, LLC. “The merger is for our clients and the new combined team helps us to better serve our growing practice. We are enthusiastic about continuing to provide the high level of service and expertise the clients have come to expect.”
Peggy Tehan and Bill Campbell will be closing their office to spend more time with their families and enjoy their retirement. Both Peggy and Bill will be available to help the firm’s success in an advisory role the first tax season. Lance Brant says, “Bill and Peggy have been invaluable parts of the Sisters Community and served their clients to shape much around Sisters. We owe them both a great show of gratitude for their service.”
Of the rationale behind the merger is for us to continue to bring a wealth of new expertise to the firm in providing assistance to clients in their financial needs. We recently brought on board Dan Cox, CPA who has over 25 years of experience in taxation. This will be a great addition to the firm and to our communities.
The new firm alignment and expertise is as follows:
CEO and Managing CPA for Redmond, Sisters and Bend – Lance Brant
Lead Redmond CPA and Partner – Jonsi Wangler
Lead Audit Manager CPA – Zachary Harmon
Lead Sisters Tax Manager CPA – Dan Cox
The combined firm boasts a team over twenty professionals including 6 CPAs to service their dedicated client bases. In addition, no layoff is expected due to the merger and the firm’s plans include expansion for all offices in 2017.
