The Children’s Museum of Central Oregon (CMCO) is kicking into programming and fundraising mode. On January 23 the Museum will host the Science Spectacular and the Jubilee at Armature (50 SE Scott Street, Bend).
The Science Spectacular pop up museum will feature science demonstrations and creative projects including: making an electric car, mask creation, egg drop competition, toothpick bridge competition and lift your parent pulley station. Admission to the event is free and open to all ages from 10am–4pm.
In the evening, CMCO will host their first annual winter fundraiser, The Jubilee. Enjoy live music from the Boxcar String Band, great food and drinks, science displays and conceptual drawings of the Children’s Museum of Central Oregon. Board members will be on-hand to discuss how to make CMCO a reality for the community.
