The City of Redmond announces the kickoff of the Parks Master Plan Update, a strategic endeavor aimed at enriching the recreational landscape for residents and visitors alike. Through community engagement, this initiative seeks to chart the course for the future development and enhancement of Redmond’s parks system to align with the evolving needs of our dynamic city.
As an integral part of the planning process, the City invites all community members to actively participate by sharing their insights and feedback via a dedicated parks survey. This survey serves as a vital platform for gathering diverse perspectives, preferences, and priorities that will directly inform the crafting of the updated Parks Master Plan.
Accessible online through the City website at redmondoregon.gov/ParksMasterPlan, and print at City Hall, the community parks survey explore various facets of park amenities, programming, accessibility and sustainability.
“We encourage all residents, from every corner of our community, to take part in the survey and share their vision for our parks,” remarked Maria Ramirez, special projects and natural resource program manager. “This collaborative effort allows us to collectively design a parks system that reflects the diverse needs and aspirations of our vibrant community.”
The Parks Master Plan Update and community survey underscore the City of Redmond, Oregon’s ongoing commitment to proactive and resident driven planning, ensuring that our parks remain vibrant, accessible, and reflective of the community’s aspirations.
