After a decade of success in the concrete industry, Deschutes Construction Corporation (DCC) is expanding their services to better serve the construction needs of Central Oregon.
DCC has played a major role in concrete work in Oregon with the ability and equipment to take-on projects from grading to demolition to foundations. Newer services including complete excavation and site development have evolved out of the company’s continuous growth.
“We have been involved in mostly concrete work for the last 10 years but have started doing excavation work and are trying to get that message out,” said Floyd.
Other services include concrete foundations, slab on grade, bridges, boat ramps, tilt up or some other aspects of civil construction.
Co-owner Matt Floyd started in the construction industry in 1995, working on projects across the United States and internationally but always called Bend his home. His brother Garett also pursued a career in the industry, taking particular interest in specialty and concrete construction. Together the brothers now own and operate the family-owned business.
“We started out with one employee and today have over 30. We started just doing custom residential concrete and now do that and large commercial concrete.”

DCC performs work as a general contractor as well for public agencies like ODOT, BLM, US Forest Service, parks departments, cities and counties across Oregon. Current projects include concrete work at OSU Cascades, the Simpson Pavilion and The Seasons Apartments. They are also doing all excavation and concrete work for the new Outlook Apartments at Pilot Butte.
