The Downtown Bend Business Association, which has a mission to improve economic vitality by enhancing the experience, image and lifestyle of Downtown Bend, has erected directory kiosks in four locations.
The DBBA issued a big thank you to Carlson Signs and Bend Rubber Stamp and Printing, which helped make the dream a reality, and to the Bend Community, which attended and supported all of its fundraisers in order to make the kiosks possible.
On the directories, QR Codes on the signs can be scanned, which will pull up a GPS map for any Downtown business to direct the individual to the business’s doorstep.

Advertisers can choose one of four Directory Kiosk locations and harness the traffic of Downtown Bend toward the business. All ads are full-color and back-lit (lights go on with the streetlamps), and the ads start at $5 per square inch. Ads are seen 24 hours a day. Ads are sold per quarter — a 3-month minimum — and discounts are offered for all DBBA members.
