Energy Trust of Oregon Seeking New Members for Diversity Advisory Council

0

Energy Trust of Oregon has a vision of clean and affordable energy for everyone — including those who have been historically underserved. To achieve this vision, we need perspectives and representation from diverse individuals representing the many customers we serve. That’s why Energy Trust created its Diversity Advisory Council, which is now accepting applications for new members.

The council, first established in 2019, provides advice and guidance to Energy Trust’s board and staff. Council members share perspectives that help shape and inform Energy Trust’s programming and outreach efforts, ensuring that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is integral to all areas of the nonprofit’s operations and planning.

Are you interested? You may be a fit for the Diversity Advisory Council if you have:

  • Expertise in diversity, equity and inclusion
  • The ability to work collaboratively with diverse perspectives and experiences
  • An interest in energy efficiency and renewable energy programs
  • A perspective on the geographic and demographic diversity of the region

Once appointed, council members meet multiple times per year and serve a three-year term, with the possibility of reappointment for a second term.
