One of Oregon’s leading software companies gives back to its neighbors.
During the global coronavirus pandemic, Oregon’s nonprofit organizations face increased financial challenges and operational hurdles while delivering critical resources to those in need. Eugene-based Palo Alto Software is offering free use of its software tools to help local nonprofits better manage their financial projections and collaborate efficiently while working remotely.
“Our company has been fortunate enough to reach customers in over 180 countries around the world,” says Sabrina Parsons, CEO of Palo Alto Software. “But we care just as much about being good citizens and helping our local nonprofit neighbors get through this extremely difficult time.”
Nonprofit organizations based in Oregon are eligible to use LivePlan, a premier planning, forecasting and budgeting software, free for 90 days. LivePlan is a critical tool for organizations who need to respond to the pandemic by adjusting their financial projections, understanding their cash flow, and providing easy-to-review financial reports to board members and regulatory councils.
Oregon nonprofits are also eligible to receive a one-time $100 donation to their organization by using Outpost (free), Palo Alto Software’s newest software tool, and providing helpful product feedback. Outpost is an email tool that helps remote teams work together in shared email inboxes like info@ or donors@ — without stepping on each other’s toes — so they can quickly respond to donor and volunteer emails.
To receive Palo Alto Software’s nonprofit relief package of LivePlan and Outpost, organizations are encouraged to visit downloads.liveplan.com/nonprofit-relief-package to learn more about the relief package and submit an application. Applications will be reviewed and followed up within five business days.
