10 Barrel Brewing presents the First Sips February newsletter. Check out the four-pack of news items below, including two new 10 Barrel products, another little prompt for the Beercat Tour and a bit of a preview. March is going to be a huge month for 10 Barrel product launches.

BEERCAT Tour

The BEERCAT went off at Mount Shasta recently and will be moving to Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Sandpoint, Idaho. This will be a big one. Not only will the Beercat be on the mountain, but 10 Barrel Brewing will take over the St. Bernard and running it from Thursday to Sunday as a 10 Barrel pop-up Pub, complete with an extensive lineup of 10 Barrel brews, but also an abbreviated (but awesome) menu of 10 Barrel Pub fare. There will even be fireworks.

You’ll find Schweitzer Beercat Details here, and the St. Bernard Pop Up Details here.

NEW PRODUCT – Cloud Mentality Hazy IPA

Does the world need another Hazy IPA? Well… depending on who you ask, YES! Cloud Mentality is brewer Ian Larkin’s exploration of hop varietals on flavor and aroma during the biotransformation process in fermentation. This hazy delivers tropical flavors of mango, pineapple and some citrus, along with dank herbal notes of drifting cannabis. Whoo boy. The name is a play on ‘crowd mentality’ because of how crowded the category is today, but this one really stands out. 7 percent ABV, 55 IBU. Cloud Mentality Fact Sheet here.

NEW PRODUCT – Mai Tai the latest RTD Canned Cocktail in 10 Barrel’s line

Straight out of the ‘50s… the 1950s and ‘60s, that is. Break out your Hawaiian shirt, little drink umbrellas and ‘cocktail hour’ vibes, because 10 Barrel’s new Mai Tai sets a tone that would be appreciated by one of the drink’s most famous promoters — Elvis Presley. 10 Barrel’s Mai Tai is the perfect complement to watching 1961’s Blue Hawaii with Presley and Angela Lansbury, which in turn will spark the perfect catalyst for your next cocktail party. 10 Barrel makes their Mai Tai with imported Caribbean Rum from Oregon Spirits Distillers and fresh fruit juice and simple syrup for a sweet, but not too sweet, drink that’ll throw you to the back of your beach chair if you’re not careful. 12.5 percent ABV.

10 Barrel’s MARCH MADNESS

Mai Tai and Cloud Mentality are just the tip of the iceberg — 10 Barrel will be launching one of the largest ranges of new products for distribution that it ever has. There are five new brands coming. One of which is a new collab/benefit beer that we’re super excited about. They’ve got everything from a new cutting edge IPA style, to low ABV options as well as high ABV and a new cider.
