Event will be the Heart of Oregon’s Arts & Culture Scene in February 2022
The OnPoint Community Credit Union Oregon Winterfest will transform the Deschutes County Expo Center in Redmond into the beating heart of Oregon’s arts and culture scene February 18-20, 2022. More than 150 artisans and vendors will fill the expansive grounds with art, music, handmade goods and the most fun outdoor winter sports around.
Thousands of Oregonians and out-of-state vendors will flock to the event, which is the largest winter celebration throughout the Pacific Northwest. In the expansive, heated fairground facilities, guests will explore winding pathways of dozens and dozens of artisans in the Fine Arts & Crafts Pavilion including leatherworkers, woodworkers, jewelers and painters. Next door in the indoor Wonderland Marketplace, more than 75 vendors will show off wares such as gourmet food, wine and clothing. Outside, the Polar Market is the place to discover outdoor winter sports, equipment and gear for enjoying the season to the fullest.
“For three days, this unparalleled winter festival will become Oregon’s hottest center for arts, culture and winter fun — no matter the temperature outside,” said Aaron Switzer, founder of Oregon Winterfest and owner of Lay it Out Events. “We invite vendors, artists and winter sports buffs to join this rollicking fair in honor of the season.”
More than 125 artisans and vendors have secured space at the popular event. Limited space is still available inside the Middle and South Sister buildings housing the Fine Arts & Crafts Pavilion and the Wonderland Marketplace. The Polar Market is filling up too, and all power sports, winter activity clubs and snow-related vendors are encouraged to apply for space right away to showcase wares and opportunities for involvement.
