First Friday Art Walk

The Old Mill District offers your monthly dose of inspiration every first Friday of the month with vibrant new exhibits featuring local and regional artists. Several district shops and galleries, Tumalo Art Co., Lubbesmeyer Art Studio & Gallery and The Stacks Art Studios & Gallery, welcome visitors from 3-6pm this Friday, September 5, along with complimentary wine tastings courtesy of Va Piano Vineyards Wine & Champagne Bar and dip samples from Savory Spice Shop.

Tumalo Art Co. opens Throughline, an exhibit by printmaker Adell Shetterly. The exhibit speaks not only to what connects these works, but also what connects Adell to the practice of printmaking itself. Hayden Homes Amphitheater welcomes the return of renegade artist Neil Young, along with rockers the Chrome Hearts and special guest Reverend Billy & The Stop Shopping Choir.  The evening is slated to include songs like their new single Big Change as well as old favorites Cinnamon Girl, Heart of Gold and Rocking in the Free World, to name a few!

Pick It Up, Bend!
