High Desert Printer Bend invites the public to celebrate its grand opening from 5-8pm on Thursday, November 6. The new company, which combined High Desert Printer LLC and Cartridge World, is located in the former Cartridge World location next to Newport Market in Bend.
High Desert Printer Bend provides affordable ink and toner cartridges, environmentally friendly refills and top-quality printer repairs.
“With this merger, we’re able to offer outstanding technical expertise and quicker response time while continuing our personalized customer service,” said Steve Peters, who co-owns High Desert Printer Bend with Lin Peters and Michael (Mickey) Meszaros.
“High Desert Printer Bend appeals to people who like to buy local and save money on printer repairs, toner and ink,” Meszaros said. “Customers also appreciate our extensive knowledge and the individual attention we provide.”
Meszaros, who has worked in the industry for 16 years, repairs inkjets and laser jets and refills toner cartridges. Steve Peters oversees the technical side of High Desert Printer Bend, bringing 30 years of experience as an executive at Hewlett Packard and president of several venture-backed startups. Peters, who has a design background and more than 10 years of business experience, handles public relations, marketing and accounting.
“Along with extremely well priced toner and ink cartridges, we provide free inkjet diagnostics and help customers with computer networking,” Peters said. “We’re certified for laser printer diagnostics and repair – plus, we’re an HP Partner, a Xerox Partner and an authorized Brother service center. This is also exciting news for our Lyoness customers who can now visit our physical location or still order online.”
