Most hiring decision-makers in the U.S. and Canada feel positively about hiring. Despite their optimism, 88% of U.S. and 90% of Canadian hiring decision-makers expect to face challenges. Finding qualified candidates is a top struggle (51% U.S.; 49% Canadian). Most companies plan to hire for entry-level positions (56% U.S.; 63% Canadian), and 29% of U.S. and 35% of Canadian companies are interested in hiring vocational/career tech graduates amid increased competition in the job market.
