Incredible Events has been serving Central Oregon since 1999, producing distinctive events for 15 years. As Owners, Don and Laura Chick strive to maintain the highest quality equipment, customer service and consumer education. Don has worked in the local event industry for over 20 years. Laura worked for local corporations in the field of business management, marketing and event production before joining her husband in 2005. Their high standards mean that their clients can focus on their special event, not the safety or appearance of the rental equipment.
Since 2005 they have expanded their business from a small home-based family business to a brick and mortar business with warehouses in both Bend and Redmond, employing 10 employees. They have continued to expand their business through the recent recession through a constant marketing and business networking.
Don and Laura believe strongly in buying local and supporting other small business and nonprofits throughout Central Oregon. With this philosophy, Laura used her skills in event production and marketing to help the local wedding and event industry by producing the Central Oregon Wedding and Event Show, a locals only show, and donating all of the proceeds to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Oregon. This event has become the premiere wedding show in Central Oregon.
Their love of family and children prompted Don and Laura to start a St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Redmond. This is a family friendly event with a kids zone, music from local bands, food vendors and beer and wine from local breweries and wineries. The festival is a fundraising and outreach benefit for Healthy Beginnings of Central Oregon and all of the proceeds go directly to the organization. Healthy Beginnings serves as a safety-net for families with young children. Last year they screened 82 children in Redmond with 59 of those children needing and receiving referrals to additional services.
Their most recent expansion of Incredible Events has been the opening of the Bend Party Store. During the recession all of the local party supply stores had closed. Expanding their business to include retail products for parties and events, such as balloons and party decorations, as well as plastic and paper plates, cups, napkins and table covers, was just good business management.
Continuing with their mission to support local, Bend Party Store strives to provide products made in the USA, it cannot always be done, but the majority of their products are made in America.
