J DUB opened their doors for lunch and dinner on March 7 in the historic Shaw Building at 932 NW Bond. The fast casual restaurant will feature American comfort food and a professionally staffed full bar.
J DUB’s debut menu will feature American comfort food with dishes such as house-made soups paired with grilled cheese, pot roast dip and all-natural Oregon beef cheeseburgers. Prices will range from $7 for a burger and fries to $14 for a soft shelled crab Louie salad. Bar patrons will find a full selection of beer, wine and signature cocktails accompanied by fun snacks like fried pickle chips, deviled eggs and the Spam mac and cheese.
“We have a great downtown location, fantastic atmosphere, really good food and a fun, enthusiastic staff that can’t wait to get going. I’m excited to open the business and work with this crew!” said Jon Weber, J DUB founder.
J DUB is excited to open the doors on Bond Street. The Shaw Building was built in 1935, previously the site was home to Bend’s livery stable in the early 1900s.
J DUB’s owner and working founder is Jon Weber, formerly bar manager with 10 Barrel Brewing. Danny Davis joins as JDUB’s general manager along with Nate Montgomery who is the restaurant’s first head chef. An additional 35 employees were on board for opening day.
