The City of Bend Building Safety Division, with support from Central Oregon Builders Association and Central Oregon Chapter of the International Code Council, is pleased to provide a presentation on the Building Code aspects associated with:
- Duplexes
- Accessory Dwelling Units
- Townhouses
- Triplexes and Quadplexes
- Oregon House Bill 2001 Changes to Bend Development Code (Allows ADUs, Townhouses, Triplexes, etc. in many residential zones)
- Oregon Senate Bill 458 (Allows land divisions of middle housing lots into multiple dwellings on separate lots)
Topics will include:
- Fire separation
- Firewall types
- Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing requirements
- Separate utilities
- Representatives will also be available for questions from Bend Planning Division, Deschutes County Building Division, and Redmond Building Division
