Magic Cycle Werks, LLC announced that it has completed a move from Los Angeles, California to Bend. Founder Gregory White expects the move will improve its ability to deliver quality handmade bicycles to local and national clients.
“We decided to make the move out of California for a few reasons. Mostly it’s due to economics but, after we researched the Bend area, we discovered Bend’s great quality of life. We were sold on the area and the lifestyle, so, we made the decision to move the company north,” said White.
All frames/bikes are built at the company’s Fifth Street location. Magic Cycle Werks is a one man shop. “Everything is handcrafted by me,” said White. “They are completely custom.”
Magic Cycle Werks first opened in Los Angeles, California in 2011. Company founder Gregory White, began building custom handcrafted bicycles in the Los Angeles area after his tenure in the motion picture industry. Magic Cycle Werks has exhibited at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS), the Interbike Trade show (Las Vegas, Nevada) and has been recognized in magazines and online publications.
