Chimps Inc. Hosts the 11th Annual Civil War Football Fundraiser at Hooker Creek Ranch in Tumalo

Chimps Inc. announced that they will host their 11th annual Civil War football game fundraiser at 12:30pm on November 26. This event includes a super silent auction just in time for holiday giving, a scrumptious dinner and football frenzy fun!

The Chimps Inc. sanctuary provides lifetime care free from human exploitation and abuse to seven chimpanzees and one Siberian lynx. Each of the chimps in their care has been rescued either from the entertainment industry, private ownership, or roadside zoos. All of them have come from substandard living conditions and have lived through situations no sentient being should have to go through. The Chimps Inc. Outreach and Education Program reaches out to schools, community groups, and organizations throughout Oregon teaching conservation and focuses on improving public education and awareness about the plight of captive chimpanzees, our closest living relative, as well as the exploitation of exotic animals in the United States. Chimps Inc. is also a founding member of the North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance expanding our advocacy and education work nationally.

100 percent of the proceeds raised from this event and will be used to support the ongoing work of Chimps Inc.
