Central Oregon students benefit from one of the region’s favorite pastimes

Thanks to the generosity of many of Central Oregon’s premier golf courses, a limited number of half-price rounds will be available to the public (on-line only) at www.golfforschools.org beginning May 1 Courses will donate 100 percent of the event’s proceeds to your local students through the education foundations for Bend-La Pine Schools, Redmond School District, Crook County and Jefferson County Schools. Course vouchers will be redeemable from May 29 – June 10 (some restrictions may apply – see website for details).

The fundraiser was spearheaded by Mark Amberson of Awbrey Glen Golf Course and Steve Lelli, a board member of the Education Foundation for Bend-La Pine Schools. To date, the event has raised approximately $40,000 in support of K-12 public education!
